Poteau, Oklahoma

Poteau serves as the seat of LeFlore County and is a unique blend of historical charm and progressive industries. The city is home to the “World’s Highest Hill.” At 1,999 feet, Cavanal Hill falls just a foot short of mountain status. It also hosts the widely-popular Poteau Balloon Fest each October, which showcases colorful hot-air balloons from around the country.
