Altus, Arkansas

Known as the “Wine Capital of Arkansas,” the town of Altus is found in the beautiful Arkansas River Valley. The region has more than 120 years of viticultural history and draws thousands of visitors each year for vineyard tours, wine tastings, and festivals celebrating the area’s rich heritage. The small rural community is home to cultural gems such as the Heritage House Museum, and the iconic St. Mary’s Catholic Church which was constructed in the Roman Basilical style in 1902.
