Entrepreneur magazine recently named Arkansas as the second most affordable state in the country.

According to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, Entrepreneur magazine cited Arkansas as having “one of the lowest costs of living in the nation. Average prices for groceries, housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and more tend to be lower in Arkansas than nearly every other state.”

Highlights included the affordability of housing in Arkansas and that both home prices and average rents are lower than other states.
